Complex oncological treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma
The 68-year-old male patient had a history of tonsillectomy at the age of 8 years, controlled hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus known for 20 years, chronic alcohol abuse, hepatic cirrhosis, and upper gastrointestinal bleeding episodes. Previous surgeries included right hip replacement surgery (total hip endoprosthesis, TEP) on April 24, 2013, and left hip replacement (TEP) on January 26, 2015. In 2008, the patient underwent coronarography for NSTEMI, with negative results. In March 2018, coronarography for angina revealed subtotal occlusion at the middle third of the right coronary artery (RCA) and significant stenosis in the left arterial descending artery (LAD), and the patient underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and stent placement in the RCA (RCA-PCI). In June 2018, LAD-PCI was performed due to residual LAD stenosis.
